what we do

The functions of the Trust can broadly be categorized as follows:

  • Feeding stray animals:

The trust is presently feeding approximately 100 stray dogs on a daily basis.

  • Development of Shelters for stray animals:

We build shelters for the stray animals to save them from the harsh and inclement weather. In the absence of these shelters many stray animals lose their lives. As civilized citizens it is incumbent upon us to provide them shelters.

  • Carrying out Vaccination and Sterilization Programs:

The biggest challenge that we are facing right now is the increasing number of strays. Their population growth needs to be controlled as the resources are limited. There is not even a single sterilization center in Bahadurgarh which could help us. Hence, we are sending the dogs mostly to Delhi for sterilization and this costs us a good amount of money as we also have to pay for the transportation along with the medical expenses. These stray are also missing out on the vaccinations which could give them a better and healthier life.

  • Providing Ambulance Service and Mobile Clinics:

In future we are also planning to start the mobile facility(vans & ambulances) for feeding and on-site treatment of strays.
